Overview
Unify Recruitment are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to a highly respected top tier contractor to deliver a high-value infrastructure project. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role on complex works with a Tier 2 contractor, where you'll play a pivotal role in project delivery, coordination and stakeholder management.
About the Role:
* Lead day-to-day engineering and site operations across utilities or TfNSW infrastructure projects.
* Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring safety, quality and program milestones are achieved.
* Provide technical input, resolve engineering challenges and drive project efficiencies.
* Oversee cost control, forecasting, and reporting to ensure project budgets and timelines are maintained.
* Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company systems.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
About You
* Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
* Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in civil engineering.
* Proven track record delivering utilities or TfNSW projects (roads, bridges, water, or major civil works).
* Experience working with Tier 2 or Tier 3 contractors highly regarded.
* Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
* Ability to balance technical detail with commercial outcomes.
