At Armidale Hospital, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Paediatric ward. In this dynamic position, you'll play a key role in providing outstanding care to children with a wide range of medical needs. On any given day, you will be assessing, monitoring, and carefully documenting each patient's health journey to uphold the highest standards of care. Alongside clinical responsibilities, you'll collaborate closely with families; offering education, emotional support, and compassionate guidance to help them navigate their healthcare experience.

You won't be working alone. You'll be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators throughout the hospital, as well as your fellow Registered Nurses. Teamwork is central to this role, as you work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver individualised care plans that address the unique needs of every child. As the region's major referral centre, Armidale Rural Referral Hospital (ARRH) offers a wide range of services including emergency, medical, surgical, rehabilitation, orthopaedic, and paediatric care. Armidale is the main hub of the New England High Country and one of Australia's most elegant regional locations, known for its 19th-century churches and heritage architecture. A graceful city of tree-lined streets, Armidale is a five-and-a-half-hour drive from Sydney and less than 90 minutes from Tamworth, with daily flights between Sydney and Armidale taking under an hour. The area is surrounded by beautiful forests, mountain gorges, national parks, and waterfalls, including Wollomombi Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in Australia.

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
