About the Role
This is a field-based role responsible for managing a portfolio of apprentices and host employers.
You will be the key point of contact on site — supporting apprentices, maintaining strong host relationships, and ensuring safety, performance and training outcomes are on track.
You will operate with a high level of autonomy and be trusted to make sound, practical decisions in real time.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end apprentice lifecycle, including recruitment support, induction, onboarding, mobilisation and ongoing field support
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor apprentice progress and site conditions
* Ensure safe work practices, supervision and compliance standards are met
* Support apprentices with performance, engagement and development
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with host employers
* Address issues early and implement practical, timely solutions
* Liaise with RTOs to support training progression and completion outcomes
* Maintain accurate, timely and compliant documentation
* Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and support future placements
About You
* Experience in a Group Training Organisation, apprenticeship, or training-focused environment
* Experience working directly with apprentices or young adults, including mentoring and support
* Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, training progression and completion requirements
* Exposure to construction environments highly regarded
* Confident building credibility with apprentices, supervisors and stakeholders
* Proven ability to manage performance issues and have direct, professional conversations
* Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your portfolio
