Job Overview
Coordinator of Supports – part‐time position (30 hours per week) with flexible working hours and arrangements.
Responsible for providing professional and accountable coordination of services to assist participants in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand and use participants' NDIS plans to pursue their goals.
* Connect with NDIS support providers, community representatives, and other services participants need.
* Build confidence and skills for participants to use and coordinate their supports.
* Keep track of participants' NDIS plan budgets.
* Respect the rights of participants.
* Adjust communication style to suit participants and build trusted relationships.
* Work collaboratively with all providers and support networks.
* Understand participants' needs, wants and goals in detail to build capacity.
Qualifications & Experience
* Finalised tertiary qualification in health or welfare field or relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering services to people with a disability.
* Detailed understanding of NDIS planning and the associated rules and reporting requirements.
* Established coordination and problem‐solving skills to address barriers.
* Willingness or ability to obtain a NSW driver's licence, NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR certificate, and to undertake a pre‐employment functional medical.
