Senior Civil Engineer/Team Leader - Urban Development Current civil team of this national engineering consultancy consists of a Senior Civil Designer, Civil Drafter and Graduate Civil Engineer in their Melbourne office, they are looking for someone to run and manage projects, whilst guiding this small team. You’ll work closely with the State Manager and senior leadership team, with scope to shape how the division operates, bringing your ideas, leadership style, and high professional standards to the table. Leading the delivery of civil engineering projects from proposal to construction in the urban development and infrastructure space Providing guidance and mentoring to a growing team of engineers and designers/drafters Supporting business growth through client relationship management and pursuit of new opportunities leading tenders and free proposals Overseeing QA and safety standards, and ensuring high-quality technical output Contribute to the long-term strategy and culture of the Melbourne office Be part of a national firm with the freedom to shape a local division Take a real ownership, autonomous role, where you make decisions Work in a culture that supports innovation and professional growth Build on the existing civil team from both a technical and leadership perspective Ideally seeking; At least 10 years of Civil Engineering Design experience in a consulting environment in Melbourne, Civil Engineering Degree and relevant accreditations A proven leader with strong technical capability in civil engineering (urban development and infrastructure) Experience in managing and mentoring project teams Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to divisional performance Interested?
