The Opportunity

The ESG Analyst will play a key role in supporting our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, focusing on regulatory reporting and disclosures.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct control boundary and materiality assessments.
2. Assist in collecting, verifying, and analysing consumption data for Scope 1 and 2 emissions calculations from subsidiaries and the Group.
3. Analyse and interpret ESG-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
4. Support developing, implementing, and monitoring our ESG strategy and initiatives.
5. Implement Scope 3 emissions data collection for FY27 reporting.
6. Lead preparation of climate-related financial disclosures (AASB S2 reporting), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
7. Partner with Finance and Risk teams to assess financial implications of ESG-related risks, including climate change.

Requirements

* A minimum 4 years' relevant experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Strong financial and analytical background with ability to model and interpret complex data.
* Experience in ESG, sustainability, or climate risk reporting, preferably within financial services, insurance, or a related sector.
* Familiarity with ESG reporting standards.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare clear and concise reports for senior stakeholders.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
