Join our dynamic team of QGAir pilots in Brisbane, delivering safe, timely and responsive frontline aviation services. You'll operate the Beechcraft King Air B360 and Caravan aircraft, providing critical frontline aviation support that helps keep Queensland communities safe. Queensland Government Air (QGAir) forms part of the Queensland Police Service (QPS), Aviation Capability Group (ACG) and provides government aviation services specialising in both rotary and fixed wing operations in support of the QPS and partner agencies in regular and emergency response operations across Queensland.
There are MULTIPLE PERMANENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates eager to relocate to Brisbane.

Based in Brisbane, you'll join a highly skilled and professional team delivering safe, timely and responsive frontline aviation services across the state. Operating our modern fleet of Beechcraft King Air B360 and Caravan aircraft, you'll provide critical aviation support to partner agencies through emergency response, lifesaving missions and essential frontline operations. Mandatory Requirements
* Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
* Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating
* Instrument Rating Multi Engine Aeroplane (MEA)
* At least two Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC's)
* Minimum 1500 hours total flying time
* Minimum 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
* Minimum 50 hours night flying
* Recent Fixed Wing Single-Pilot Experience (within 2 years)
* Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
* Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
* Hold a current Passport
Highly Desirable Requirements
* Hold a current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
* 500 hours multi-engine PIC
* 100 hours turbine experience
* Experience flying King Air aircraft
* Experience operating in remote and regional areas
* B360 Type Rating
* C208 (or similar) Experience
A probation period of 6 months applies to this position. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
