Here's a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Pharmacist/Science Graduate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality manufacture of products.
The primary focus of this role is to release products, supervise and assist technicians in their daily activities, and meet the needs of both internal and external customers. You will be part of a collaborative team that values trust, courage, and open communication.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Brunswick, VIC, with flexible working hours including Monday to Friday, 3 pm-11 pm, and occasional overtime as required. Note that training and orientation may require flexibility for approximately 3-5 months, with shift times ranging from 7 am to 6 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconcile orders efficiently.
* Advise and direct technicians on workflow and compounding requirements for orders.
* Additional responsibilities may include product release or maintenance of parenteral nutrition formulations.
* Receipt, scheduling, prioritizing, entering and checking orders, as required.
* Aseptic compounding of orders, as required.
* You will be expected to perform overtime as and when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Must have Australian working rights.
* An experienced, registered Pharmacist is preferred, or an experienced Science Graduate.
* Minimum 12 months experience in a Pharmacy Technician role will be highly regarded.
* Enjoy routine work with high attention to detail.
* Have a strong team work focus.
* Meet business expectations regarding productivity and output.
* Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
* Display drive and a sense of urgency to achieving deadlines.
