Registered Nurse - NCH (Angel Assist)
Join Angel Assist as a Registered Nurse in Narrogin Cottage Homes (NCH). The role provides RN clinical care services to residents, ensuring high‑quality care and safety in accordance with NCH policies, ANMC standards, and Australian law.
Scope of Position
The RN is a key operational member of the facility, delivering resident care, providing leadership, supporting the Care Manager/Clinical Lead in care planning, and maintaining accurate documentation using iCare.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate resident care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Provide management and leadership to care staff, fostering teamwork and resident focus.
* Demonstrate professional conduct and support Aged Care accreditation processes.
* Perform complete resident clinical care – admission, assessment, care planning, and ongoing review.
* Observe and document residents' responses; facilitate changes with the Care Manager.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident information systems.
* Apply problem‑solving processes in clinical care, WHS, and service provision.
* Involve residents and families in care planning.
* Maintain compliance with all legislation, regulations, and internal performance standards.
* Operate within the scope of practice as registered by AHPRA.
* Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
* Uphold private confidentiality and privacy principles.
* Participate in performance management and appraisal of staff.
* Contribute to a positive staff morale and continuous improvement environment.

Selection Criteria
Qualifications
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
* Up‑to‑date First Aid/CPR Certificate.
* Appropriate visas to work in Australia.
Essential Skills
* Knowledge of legislation, ANMC standards, and accreditation.
* Demonstrated empathy, integrity, justice, respect, compassion, and service excellence.
* Ability to analyze clinical data for quality improvement.
* Effective verbal and written communication.
* Time‑management and computer literacy (iCare, Microsoft Office).
Desirable Skills
* Specialist training in dementia or geriatric care.
* Experience in wound care, palliative care, or similar clinical specialties.
* Involvement in policy development.
* Experience with AN‑ACC documentation and iCare software.

Physical Attributes
Reasonable fitness required – ability to stay on feet for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 kg independently. Candidates with chronic back, neck, knee, or hip issues likely unsuitable.
