Location: Work close to home in any of the following clinics: Ascot, Aspley, Chermside, Clayfield, Wavell Heights, Bowen Hills, Lutwyche, Banyo, Carseldine, Tagum, Geebung, Deagon, Nundah.
Casual Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist) responsible for collecting blood and non‐blood samples, coordinating specimen transport and ensuring accurate, timely documentation and quality service to patients.
Responsibilities
* Collect samples (blood and non‐blood) with care and attention
* Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample
* Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times
* Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing
* Liaise with customers, clinic staff and couriers
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in phlebotomy, Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
* Excellent customer‐service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
* Organised, strong time‐management and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic
* Valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
* Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
* Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen or visa permitting work in Australia
* Ability to work across a range of hours
WWCC requirement: Must hold an existing Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
