The purpose of this position is to provide electrical support for the mobilisation, commissioning, maintenance, and demobilisation of Heidelberg Materials Australia’s Mobile Concrete Plant fleet. The role ensures compliance with all relevant Mines and Quarry Work Health and Safety Regulations, AS/NZS standards, and company policies, while maximizing operational efficiency and safety. The employee must be able to travel to remote locations for multiple days or weeks as required. Electrician Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a capable, hands-on Electrician to support our Mobile Concrete Plant fleet across Australia. Perth-based salary circa $150K–$160K site uplift ($200/day) All travel, tools and equipment provided Opportunity to work across diverse sites nationally, including remote locations What you’ll be doing Install, test, commission, fault-find and maintain electrical systems on mobile concrete plants Support plant mobilisation and demobilisation across multiple project locations Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, 3012, 3760 and relevant WHS requirements Maintain accurate documentation, including ITPs/ITCs, drawings and SAP records Identify and raise defects, ensuring quality and traceability Contribute to practical improvements in plant design and setup (including plug-and-play solutions) What you’ll bring: A‑Grade Electrical Licence with 5 years’ trade experience Strong understanding of electrical systems in industrial or mobile plant environments Ability to read schematics, complete redlines, and follow structured processes Experience with batching systems (e.g. Command Batch) – desirable Exposure to VSDs, soft starters, or quarry/concrete/asphalt plants – advantageous Current First Aid & LVR (additional tickets such as HV, Confined Space or EWP beneficial) Willingness to travel and work on remote sites for extended periods What we offer: The opportunity to be part of a globally recognized brand with a growing presence in Australia.
