About the Job
This role forms part of the strategy and enablement team which sits within the Business Bank (BB) ESG and Sustainable Finance team, within MCG. The team supports the design and implementation of the Group and Business Banking's Environmental and Social strategic priorities across Sustainable Funding, ESG Risk and Indigenous Business Banking.
Do Work that Matters
Reporting into the Senior Manager, ESG Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering initiatives to meet the Business Bank's ESG strategy. The role will also engage with Product, Frontline and Group teams as part of project execution and solution delivery. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in sustainability strategy, communications, and successful delivery of initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
The ESG landscape is evolving, so responsibilities may change. Problem-solving, adaptability, and sound judgment are essential.
* Deliver strategic initiatives to achieve CBA's Sustainable Funding Target.
* Manage the Sustainable Funding pipeline for BB, including supporting BB frontline on eligibility and regular reporting.
* Design and deliver ESG capability uplift to frontline teams.
* Execute strategic initiatives for BB, including product and partnership development, enhancing BB's ESG market profile, and organising sustainability-focused customer events.
* Identify and implement opportunities to embed ESG and Sustainable Funding priorities, fostering ownership and accountability for ESG outcomes across the business.
