About the Role
As an EI&C Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, specification, integration, and commissioning of control and automation systems. You'll work across the full project lifecycle, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and compliance requirements in accordance with Australian Standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and review P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, and control system architecture.
* Specify and select field instrumentation, analyzers, transmitters, and control valves.
* Prepare panel layouts, schematics, termination diagrams, and cable schedules.
* Produce and maintain FAT, SAT, and commissioning documentation.
* Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and control system safety assessments.
* Liaise with vendors and integrators for equipment selection, FAT inspections, and technical clarifications.
* Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 61508, AS 61511, and AS/NZS 60079 standards.

About You
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
* 3–8 years' experience in EI&C design, instrumentation, and control system implementation.
* Strong knowledge of process instrumentation, control valves, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
* Familiarity with functional safety and Australian Standards for EI&C systems.
* Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
* NER or CPEng accreditation (or working towards it) desirable.
* Experience in oil & gas / energy, water, wastewater, or manufacturing industries advantageous.
