Purchasing / Warehouse and Logistics Officer
Wintech Engineering is an engineering business building sophisticated machines for export worldwide. We are a private family‐owned company based in Bibra Lake, with a team of around twenty skilled trades, engineers and support staff.
Overview
This hybrid role combines procurement, warehouse management, production control and quality control. You will have authority to make all decisions relating to purchasing, scheduling, storing, issuing and the quality of mechanical, electrical and electronic component inputs.
Responsibilities
* Schedule material requirements and timing.
* Source suppliers, negotiate best pricing and place repeat orders.
* Manage store stock location, picking and issue to work centres.
* Control production sequencing, raise job orders and issue material.
* Issue drawings and specifications to suppliers and perform incoming goods quality control.
Requirements
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement roles.
* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in stores and warehouse management operations.
* Inter‐mediate proficiency with ERP systems and inventory/bar‐coding systems.
* Computer literacy, including Office Suite.
* Forklift licence is a benefit.
* Excellent memory for part numbers and strong team‐player attitude.
