About the role

A key member of the Sales management team and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the State Sales Manager you will lead a small team and be responsible for the sales across WA. We are looking for an experienced sales leader with strong commercial acumen to take charge and lead a team of experienced professionals.

As well as managing the teams and targets, the State Sales Manager will also be required to manage their own rep-code areas and allocated customers as part of the regional team for all products within the RFI portfolio.

We expect that you will have proven skills and experience in an industry within the RFI portfolio. The sales budget is part of the duties of this role, we require you to have a good financial understanding and strong process and analytical skills. You will be capable and current in the use of internet technology, CRM / ERP systems and Office programs.

We are looking for a sales professional who can go manage a team and a customer portfolio across RF and Solar. Dedication, hard work and a can-do attitude are what this job requires.

About you

An experienced sales professional with 5+ years sales management experience in technology solutions, wireless coverage and/or solar/renewable energies or similar. Experience in B2B strategic marketing is also highly considered. As our products are of a technical nature, we expect that you have had experience in other or similar technical products.

Qualifications & Skills

* Focused, determined and an organised person with excellent people management skills
* Strong negotiating sales skills with a successful track record of delivering stretched sales budgets
* A strong leader and demonstrated skills in growing and developing sales teams
* Proven success creating and implementing customer journey strategies.
* Excellent commercial, financial planning and analytical skills
* Experience in preparing tenders, quotations and sales proposals.
* Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
* A listener, a good communicator and relationship builder
