The Role
You will be the glue that holds our operations together and the engine that drives our profitability. Your focus will span financial oversight, team leadership and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Profitability & Growth Management: review cash flow forecast, financial year targets and collaborate with the execution team to stay on track.
* Financial Partnership: work closely with the bookkeeper and group accountant on wage processing, leave management, commission, profit share payments and commercial decisions.
* Strategic Spending: monitor expenses, identifying when to maintain and when to invest for growth.
* Operational Leadership & Systems: manage Accelo to ensure work is logged, value is delivered and the team is optimised.
* Process Improvement: drive documentation and ISO management with the Technical Operations Manager to improve daily operations.
* Cross-Department Synergy: bridge the gap between the Production team (project completion) and the Digital team (onboarding and retention).
* People, Culture & Recruitment Assistance: lead recruitment using Predictive Index, manage HR issues, drive staff morale and implement training schedules with department heads.
* Conflict Resolution: act as a final point of resolution for internal or external matters.
* Internal Communication Strategy: hold board, leadership and internal meetings to communicate the "why" behind business decisions.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Operations Manager position.
* Experience in a marketing agency environment is highly advantageous.
* Strong leadership capability, cultural fit and proactive drive.
* Ability to work at a fast pace, under pressure and solve "big picture" problems.
