About the Role
This position focuses on providing support to adults or paediatric clients with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties, with an emphasis on NDIS and disability services. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and device implementation, as well as coordination with other allied health professionals.
* Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
* Design, trial and implementation of low and high‐tech communication devices
* Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans
* Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
* Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GPs
* Provide education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners
