About the Role:
Recharge Petroleum is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our Broome Depot maintaining our fleet of Kenworth prime movers and fuel tanker trailers.
This is a hands‐on role suited to a motivated mechanic who enjoys working in a busy transport environment.
Due to the ongoing nature of this role, preference will be given to candidates who are either currently based in Broome or willing to relocate at their own cost.
Key Responsibilities
* Preventative maintenance and servicing of prime movers and fuel tankers
* Fault finding and repair of fleet equipment and trailer systems
* Completing inspection checklists and maintenance records
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
* Supporting depot compliance and maintenance requirements
* Work as part of a team to minimise downtime and keep our fleet moving
What You'll Need
* Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
* Experience maintaining heavy vehicles and trailers
* Experience with Kenworth prime movers (Cat / Cummins engines highly regarded)
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving ability
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A strong commitment to workplace safety
