About Genesis Fitness
With 24 hour access, 7 days a week, our national network of health clubs spans across Australia at 42 locations (and growing!). We feature every aspect of exercise from weights to cardio, swimming or dance, boxing to cycling. The Role
As one of ourFitness Coaches, you will be trained to deliver Coaching Zone sessions (small group training) as part of our revolutionary Coaching Zone program. You will learn to use Myzone heart rate training technology, complete our full nutrition program and the Coaching Zone app. Our coaches love helping members by bringing fun and high energy to the sessions; previous group fitness class experience is regarded, but not essential. You will work closely with our Head Fitness Coach and participate in business development to grow the Coaching Zone program.
Key Requirements
* Deliver structured 45‐minute SGPT sessions.
* Participate in weekly coach development.
* Service our current database of Coaching Zone members.
* Grow the program through sales, support and training.
* Follow systems and processes.
* Inspire and lead a group of members.
What We Are Looking For (Essential)
* Ability to engage and coordinate a group of clients.
* Inspirational leadership qualities.
* 'Can-Do' attitude.
* Certificate III in Fitness.
* Registration (Aus Active).
* Current First Aid and CPR.
* Working With Children Check (NSW).
* Current driver's licence.
Desirable
* Level 1 Boxing.
* Level 1 Kettlebell.
* Strength and Conditioning Level 1.
* Effective Movement Trainer / Mechanics of Lifting / Functional Training.
