About the Role As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within an acute hospital setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
* Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans
* Delivering rehabilitation therapy and recommending environmental modifications
* Collaborating with medical, nursing and allied health teams
* Educating patients and families to support discharge planning and recovery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience in a hospital setting
* A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
* Current AHPRA registration
* A current Working with Vulnerable People Check
* A strong commitment to quality patient care and clinical excellence
* Understanding of, and compliance with, ACQSHC National Standards
