This is a great opportunity to work for a leading global nuclear engineering and project delivery organisation specialising in complex, safety-critical infrastructure programmes across highly regulated sectors.
Role Overview
* Lead the development, integration, and assurance of complex project schedules across a major programme area
* Drive scheduling excellence within a PMO / Delivery Programmes environment
* Manage and coordinate planning activities across internal teams and supply chain partners
* Ensure high‐quality schedule performance, governance, and reporting to support strategic decision‐making
* Promote best practice in integrated planning, assurance, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain integrated, logic‐linked project schedules from first principles
* Manage and assure outputs from planners, schedulers, and supply chain partners
* Review and challenge contractor schedules for quality, compliance, and contractual alignment
* Identify and manage key interfaces, risks, opportunities, and dependencies
* Deliver accurate programme reporting including progress updates, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Produce month‐end reporting (baseline performance, schedule health, and progress metrics)
* Facilitate schedule workshops, peer reviews, and critical path analysis sessions
* Collaborate closely with project managers, PMO, and multidisciplinary delivery teams
* Drive continuous improvement in planning standards and scheduling capability
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Planner / Planning Engineer on major infrastructure or complex engineering projects
* Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling techniques
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
* Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills
* Experience in schedule integration, baselining, and change control
* Commercial awareness, including NEC and/or FIDIC contracts
Desirable
* Nuclear or highly regulated infrastructure project experience
* Familiarity with APM, PMI, or AACE frameworks
* Exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools
* Experience working in matrix organisations
