Marketing Manager (Parental Leave Contract)
Drive the marketing for one of South-East Queensland's most loved early learning groups.
Little Scholars is a family-owned group of early learning campuses across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, and Redland Bay. We were built deliberately against the corporate childcare model. We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing while one of our team is on parental leave.
This role is not a hold-the-fort position. You'll own the strategy, run the campaigns, and influence how families across the region come to know us. If you want eight months where your work visibly moves the needle, this is it.
What you'll be doing
Lead Little Scholars' marketing end to end: shape the strategy, drive enrolment growth across campuses, and keep our brand sharp and consistent wherever it appears. Day to day you will manage our website, social channels, email and paid digital, create content that sounds like us, and use data to evaluate what lands and what doesn\'t.
Act as the connective tissue between teams, working with campus managers, operations, and external partners on events, partnerships and community initiatives. Support recruitment and promotional campaigns when a marketing lift is needed. Report to management with clear, useful insights rather than dashboards for the sake of it.
What you\'ll bring
You\'re a marketer who can think strategically and still execute. You\'ll have a degree in marketing, communications, business or similar, and three to five years of experience. Experience in education, childcare or another service-based industry is a plus, but the key is alignment with our mission.
You know digital well: social, SEO, SEM, email, content. You write well, read data without fear, and can manage several campaigns at once. You\'re proactive, bring ideas, and prefer collaboration over solo work.
You will also need a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a National Police Check.
Why Little Scholars
We value our people. You\'ll receive discounted childcare, flexible working, a modern office with good gear, an Employee Assistance Program, genuine professional development, and a team that enjoys working together. Most of all, you\'ll contribute to shaping the early years for thousands of local families.
Application
To apply, please send your resume and a short cover letter explaining why you\'d be a great fit.
