A Day in the Life
As our Sous Chef, you'll oversee the kitchen brigade and manage the team in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine. Your team-first philosophy and can-do attitude will set the standard for excellence in our kitchen. You'll also encourage your team to showcase their flair and heritage, ensuring continuous growth and creativity.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the kitchen brigade and manage the team.
* Take charge in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine.
* Encourage staff to showcase flair and heritage.
* Ensure continuous growth and creativity in the kitchen.
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced 4-5* resort or restaurant environment in a similar position.
* Exposure to fine dining.
* Sound culinary knowledge.
* A creative and innovative mindset.
* A desire to further develop your skills.
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and peak holiday periods.
* Full working rights in Australia.
