We are growing aggressively and looking for driven people who want to be part of a quick-moving, ambitious business. We are seeking an Accounts Officer to support our finance function across accounts payable, accounts receivable.

About the role
The Accounts Officer will support the day-to-day finance operations of K-Drill, ensuring supplier invoices, customer invoices, reconciliations and debtor follow-up are handled accurately and on time.
You will work closely with finance, operations and management in a practical business environment where urgency, ownership and high standards matter.
Key responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices, purchase orders and payment runs
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
* Preparing and issuing customer invoices
* Monitoring accounts receivable and following up overdue accounts
* Managing credit control processes and maintaining clear debtor notes
* Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts
* Assisting with bank and credit card reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate supplier and customer records
* Supporting payroll, BAS preparation and month-end reporting as required
* Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams professionally
* Providing general finance and administration support to the business
* Looking for ways to improve processes, accuracy and turnaround times
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar finance administration role
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Confidence following up overdue accounts professionally
* A strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
* The ability to work with urgency without dropping standards
* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* A practical, reliable and proactive approach to work
* Experience in mining services, drilling, construction, civil works, transport, plant hire or another operational business would be highly regarded.
