The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and people‐focused Casual Administration Assistant to provide high‐quality operational and administrative support across all aspects of campus life.
Working closely with the Operational Support Officer and Coordinator, UniSC Gympie, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors. This role is central to the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the campus, combining reception, customer service and administration to create a welcoming and efficient environment that supports student success and community engagement.
You will
* Act as the first point of contact for UniSC Gympie, providing professional reception, administrative support and customer service to students, staff and visitors
* Provide high‐quality operational and administrative support across all aspects of campus operations
* Manage student enquiries via phone, email and in person, ensuring timely, accurate and helpful responses
* Support student engagement by sharing relevant information and referring students to appropriate UniSC servicesMaintain accurate student records using CRM systems, ensuring confidentiality and data integrityContribute to the efficient day‐to‐day functioning of the campus by supporting the Operational Support Officer and Coordinator as required
About you
You are organised, approachable and thrive in a customer‐focused environment. You enjoy supporting others, managing competing priorities and being part of a collaborative team. With strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach, you are comfortable handling enquiries, sensitive situations and administrative tasks with professionalism and care.
You will possess
o High‐level communication, organisation and problem‐solving skills
o Experience in a customer‐focused role supporting a diverse range of people
o The ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and maintain confidentiality
o High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience using CRM systems desirable
o A reliable, flexible approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
o The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes
