About the role
Join the growing team at Crest Accounting Pty Ltd as an Intermediate / Senior Accountant. This full‐time position is based in East Maitland, NSW. You will play a key role in providing high‐quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing financial statements, tax returns and other accounting documents for clients, including self‐managed superannuation fund clients
* Assisting with tax planning and compliance activities
* Conducting research and analysis to support strategic decision making
* Providing proactive advice and recommendations to clients
* Collaborating with the broader Crest Accounting team on projects and initiatives
* Mentoring and training junior accounting staff
What we're looking for
* Post‐qualification experience in public practice or commercial accounting
* Strong technical skills in tax, compliance and financial reporting
* Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
* Problem‐solving skills and a commercial mindset
* Experience supervising and developing junior accounting staff
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field
