What's the role?
We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director, Real‐Time Treasury within Global Transaction Services at Westpac Institutional Bank. This role offers the opportunity to step into a fast‐paced environment, where you'll run day‐to‐day operations, ensuring priorities, communications and schedules are seamlessly managed. You'll oversee a complex calendar and inbox, prepare leadership meeting packs and presentations, draft correspondence, coordinate travel, and support events and team activities. You will also act as a key point of coordination across the leadership team and wider business, partnering closely with other Executive Assistants and senior stakeholders to keep things moving and ensure your leader is well prepared and supported at all times.
What do I need?
Experience in banking or financial services is helpful, and exposure to systems such as COUPA or Concur would be an advantage.
* Proven experience in a similar Executive Assistant role, supporting senior leadership
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Clear, professional communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence working with senior stakeholders across a large organisation
You'll also bring a proactive approach, good judgement, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You are detail‐focused, comfortable handling sensitive information, and take ownership of your work. We also value curiosity and forward‐thinking, with a keen interest in embracing emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and continuously improve the way work gets done.
