Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.
A permanent part‑time position is available at our Byron Bay (NSW) company store, to work 18 hours per week. You need to be willing to work Saturdays at the Ballina store, if required.
While previous experience within the paint industry is preferred, any relevant personal experience in home improvement or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.

Store hours are 6:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer experience to both retail and trade customers
- Tinting and mixing paint, and providing colour advice
- Following the “Inspirations Way” guiding principles
- Sharing product knowledge in paint and protective coatings, and assisting with stock control and merchandising
- Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping
- Adhering to our Workplace Health & Safety program
Experience / Attributes
- Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus
- Well presented both in appearance and communication
- Able to contribute and work in a small team environment
- Proven sales experience and a solid knowledge of paint and associated products
- Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or complaints
- Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Physical fitness to lift up to 25 kg
