The Director of Education and Training role involves leading the development of an RFDS Clinical School Campus with Charles Sturt University, supporting primary care education and training, and delivering primary care services across western NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
We seek a Fellow with RACGP or ACRRM, current registration with AHPRA, ALS2 certification, significant experience in rural medicine, and strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
* Provide academic oversight of the RFDS Clinical School
* Support delivery of medical school requirements
* Foster a positive learning environment
* Participate in leadership forums
This role has three key areas: Academic Leadership, Clinical Education, and Clinical Leadership & Service Delivery. As the Director of Education and Training, you will provide clinical leadership, deliver patient-centred healthcare, supervise junior doctors, and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement.
