**Assistant Category Manager - Seafood

**What you'll do**
- Negotiating commercials with suppliers around cost of goods, promotional & marketing funding
- Manage key strategic Initiatives, as well as deliver targets on sales growth, profitability and market share.
- Partner with a large number of internal and external stakeholders working cross functionally across the business
- Deliver optimum ranges via a planned review schedule, offering choice that is store tailored, reflective of the category roles, incorporates changing customer trends and utilises focused customer insight Further developing our strategic supplier relationships through effective communication and negotiation
**What you'll bring**
- Previous experience in Buying or exposure to commercial buying
- Demonstrated the ability to negotiate and influence with cross functional and external stakeholders with an emphasis on promotional strategy, executing reviews, bringing new products to market
- Sound commercial acumen and demonstrated ability in increasing sales and profit through implementation of strategic program initiatives The ability to use customer insights and data to make strategic & commercial business decisions
