Step Into Your Next Chapter

The Student Wellbeing Workforce is about making sure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to meaningful wellbeing support, right where they need it — at school.

In this role, you'll work directly with students experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, providing early intervention and therapeutic support that can make a real difference to their learning, engagement, and everyday wellbeing. You'll be part of the school's established student support team, working collaboratively with educators and other professionals to strengthen the support around each child and young person.

This position is well suited to provisional psychologists and early‐career psychologists, with structured supervision provided. Supervision toward the internship program and clinical registrar program can also be supported. Students currently completing their studies are warmly encouraged to apply, making this a great opportunity to build experience, confidence, and impact in a supportive school‐based environment.

This is a school‐based position and travel may be a required element of the role.
