Job Description About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Planner to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Maintenance team and reporting directly to the Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring the maintenance of Tier 1 assets including 2× 2570 Draglines and three rope shovels and relevant infrastructure around site to ensure that targeted availabilities are achieved and exceeded; developing effective maintenance plans; ensuring appropriate risk management processes are utilised; and being accountable for maintaining and repairing plant and equipment in line with company production needs, targeted availabilities, statutory obligations and assistance in the development of maintenance strategies and budgets.
* Planning, scheduling and monitoring the maintenance of the Tier 1 assets including 2× 2570 Draglines and three rope shovels and relevant infrastructure around site.
* Develop effective maintenance plans and assist managers, superintendents and supervisors in the implementation of these plans.
* Ensure that appropriate risk management processes are utilised when planning work.
* Be accountable for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and repaired in line with company production needs, targeted availabilities, statutory obligations and aid in the development of maintenance strategies and budgets.
About You
* Have a trade or tertiary qualification in an Electrical/Engineering discipline.
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Project.
* Experience with plant and mobile equipment maintenance and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, including SAP.
* Experience in similar mining equipment and/or Plant Maintenance role.
* Strong communication skills.
* An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities.
* Actively investigate enhancements to procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, safety, job satisfaction and productivity.
