Role Description
This is a full‐time on‐site role for a Solar Technician located in the Wollongong Area. The Solar Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. Daily tasks include inspecting and troubleshooting solar power systems, ensuring proper functioning, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with installation teams to achieve optimal performance. The technician will also focus on identifying energy solutions for clients, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining high‐quality service standards.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of Solar Systems, Solar Power, and the Solar Industry
* Experience with Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in solar installations
* Understanding of Power Generation principles and system optimization
* Proficiency in working with tools and equipment specific to solar system installation and maintenance
* Ability to work on‐site in different weather conditions with attention to safety protocols
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant certifications or licenses in solar installations and electrical work are a plus
* Existing understanding of renewable
