About the Role
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing and implementing marketing strategies to support business growth and service delivery. The role also involves providing advice to management on marketing initiatives, service positioning, and promotional activities within the NDIS, disability support and community care sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing objectives, strategies and programs to support business growth, service awareness, and brand positioning
* Conduct market research to analyse industry trends, client needs, competitor activity, potential demand and local opportunities within the NDIS, disability support and community care sector
* Collect and analyse data on client enquiries, referral sources, service utilisation, and campaign performance to support business development and decision‐making
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community and referral‐based channels
* Create and manage content for social media, website updates, brochures, newsletters, advertising materials and other promotional materials
* Support the organisation's digital presence through content updates, audience engagement, and campaign monitoring
* Monitor and evaluate marketing performance, including engagement, enquiries, and outcomes, and prepare reports for management
* Contribute to enhancing brand visibility and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all communication channels
* Liaise with support coordinators, healthcare professionals, referral partners, and community organisations to support service promotion and referral pathways
* Ensure marketing materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with organisational, industry, and regulatory requirements
* Provide advice to management on marketing strategies, including service positioning, promotional activities, pricing considerations, and appropriate communication and distribution channels
Requirements
* Flexible schedule available
* At least 1 year of relevant work experience in marketing, digital marketing, market research, campaign delivery, or a related role
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
* Experience in market research, including analysing customer needs, industry trends, competitor activity, and identifying opportunities
* Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing strategies and programs
* Experience coordinating and delivering multi‐channel marketing activities across digital and offline platforms (e.g. social media, websites, email, printed materials, and community promotions)
* Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional, and engaging materials
* Ability to collect and analyse data, interpret market insights, and prepare reports to support business decision‐making
* Good understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement, and digital marketing performance indicators, with familiarity in CRM systems, CMS, or similar systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, referral partners, and community organisations
* Experience or understanding of the NDIS, healthcare, or community services sector (highly regarded)
