About the Project
CMC has been awarded the contract for the reconstruction of the Mount Spec Road by the Queensland Government.
This project involves traversing steep terrain with narrow carriageways and dry and wet tropic landscapes.
We aim to deliver exceptional outcomes for the community and restore safe, reliable access through this vital corridor.
The project poses unique geotechnical challenges that require skilled professionals to complete it successfully.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience on similar civil infrastructure projects, preferably TMR;
* Residence in the Townsville area;
* Proven ability in leading the construction process by managing a team of multi-skilled plant operators and labourers;
* A strong work ethic and commitment to the environment and safety;
* Ability to accurately follow instructions and directions from supervisors and engineers;
* Experience in supervising subcontractors' and suppliers' work and materials delivered;
* Confidence in hands-on day-to-day site supervision and coordination;
* Tickets enabling operation of machinery as required.
Labourer Position
To join our team as a labourer, you will need:
* To reside in the Townsville area;
* A minimum of 2 years' general labouring experience within civil construction;
* A strong focus and commitment to safety;
* Confidence in passing a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol test;
* A current driver's license.
