We're known for our quality food, fresh ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional dishes to our loyal customers and visitors to the region.
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Chef with strong experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. The role will involve:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
* Developing and maintaining menu items in line with our restaurant's style and customer expectations
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
* Managing stock control, ordering, and kitchen cost efficiency
* Supervising and training kitchen staff
Skills and Experience Required
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Creativity and passion for quality food
* Ability to work under pressure in a quick-paced environment
* Good communication and team management skills
Salary
Annual salary: $75,000-80,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
