About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team for a 4 month contract. This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced role that operates as the "engine room" of HR—supporting the delivery of efficient, compliant and high‐quality people operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational and overflow support to HR Business Partners across recruitment, onboarding and employee relations
* Manage day-to-day HR operations including HR inbox queries, reporting, and documentation
* Support employee relations processes including probation, performance management and investigations
* Manage sponsorship, visa processes and compliance requirements
* Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are an organised and adaptable HR professional who thrives in an energetic environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities. You bring a strong customer‐service mindset and take pride in delivering high‐quality, timely outcomes.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
* 1‐2 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast‐paced environment
* Demonstrated experience in employee relations and managing IR/ER cases
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and modern awards (HIGA preferred)
* Experience in reporting, data analysis and presenting insights
* Exposure to learning and development or leadership programs
* Solid organisational and project management skills
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
