Purpose of the Role
As Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for representing the Thomas Archer brand at the Jasper Display Centre, engaging prospective clients, qualifying custom home opportunities and converting enquiry into appointments, design briefs and sales outcomes.
The role blends premium sales, customer discovery, early design conversation, product storytelling and commercial qualification.
You will guide clients through the early stages of a custom home journey with confidence, while building trust, creating urgency and positioning Thomas Archer as the builder of choice.
Key Scope and Duties
* Own and manage enquiry generated through the Jasper Display Centre.
* Welcome and engage prospective clients in a professional, confident and consultative manner.
* Qualify buyer needs, budget, land status, design intent, timing and decision‐making process.
* Convert display traffic into appointments and active sales opportunities.
* Manage follow‐up activity to ensure no quality lead is missed.
* Guide prospects through the Thomas Archer custom home process.
* Discuss conceptual design ideas with clients and understand their lifestyle, family needs, block requirements and home aspirations.
* Translate client needs into a clear design and sales brief.
About You
You're a confident, polished and commercially minded sales professional with experience in premium residential homes, custom home sales, knock‐down rebuild, or high‐end display home consulting.
You understand that selling a custom home is not a transactional process. It's about listening well, building trust, understanding the client's lifestyle, and guiding them through a considered design and building journey.
You'll be comfortable working with clients who have high expectations around design, quality, finish and service. You'll know how to tell a compelling product story, explain value with confidence, and help clients understand what sets a premium custom builder apart.
You'll bring experience across:
* Premium knock‐down rebuild sales
* High‐end residential or architectural home sales
* Display home consulting with a proven record of lead conversion
* Residential building, design, facades, floorplans and buyer behaviour
* Working with clients seeking a high‐quality, design‐led building experience
