We are hiring multiple Plumbers to support us in this contract. These are permanent full-time positions based at key sites across South Australia including Edinburgh, Keswick and Woomera.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing plumbing issues in Defence buildings and infrastructure.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Ensuring all plumbing work complies with current legislation and regulatory standards.
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems and pipework.
- Collaborating with other maintenance staff and contractors to complete repairs and installations.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.
- Responding to emergency plumbing situations promptly and efficiently.
- Advising on the selection of materials and equipment for plumbing repairs and installations.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff and apprentices.
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in plumbing maintenance and repair work.
- Experience working in large infrastructure environments, preferably within Defence or similar sectors.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Minimum of Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent qualification, and valid Plumbing & Drainage Occupational Licence.
- Licence endorsements for backflow prevention, heat pump water systems, on-site sewerage facility maintenance, solar water systems, and thermostatic mixing valves.
Additional Requirements
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
