About the company:

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing who are committed to the continual development of new products and innovation across their site in both The Latrobe Valley and globally.

About the Role

Based in The Latrobe Valley, our client is seeking to appoint a Finance Admin Officer to join them covering a maternity contract. The role is an integral part of the Finance and Administration team and will be supporting both the Department Management, another finance colleague and will also provide back up and support to the customer services department.

Some of the main duties you will be responsible for:

- Support admin tasks, debtor management, and credit applications
- Process transfer of stock between warehouses including transport bookings and related costings
- Debtor management and collections
- Management of mobile phone account and stakeholder relationship
- Accounts Payable & Receivable functions & bank reconciliations
- CRM administration, maintenance and support
- Maintain general tidiness of premises and stock of staff amenities and stationery supplies
- Provide support to Supply Chain with stock count and stock reconciliation
- Support Accounts Payable and Customer Service as required including annual leave cover

Key Skills & Competencies:

- 2+ years relevant Administration / Financial experience
- Basic to intermediate financial competencies
- Strong customer service orientation and an understanding of the sales environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer orientation and focus both on internal and external customers
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft applications
