Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Darwin, the capital city of the Northern Territory.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated GP to develop their skills in occupational health medicine and work injury management.
The role will provide exposure to all aspects of general practice and occupational health medicine, including pre-employment medical assessments, family medicine, men's and women's health, and acute injury treatment and management.
You will be working in a modern, purpose-built facility with excellent facilities and a friendly, focused multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality general practice services to patients
* Conduct occupational health assessments and provide advice on workplace health and safety
* Manage workers' compensation claims and provide support to injured workers
* Develop and implement health promotion programs to improve the health and wellbeing of employees
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
Requirements:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners (FRACGP) desirable
* Full registration with AHPRA
* Postgraduate training and experience in general practice
* Experience in occupational medicine and work injury management is advantageous
* Eligibility to access Medicare
* Proven evidence of continuous professional development and medical education
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
