Job Opportunity: Civil Maintenance Crew
We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to join our civil maintenance crew as part of a 38 hour per week full-time position. As a member of this team, you will play a vital role in maintaining public infrastructure such as roads, footpaths, drainage and street furniture.
About the Role
This is a physically demanding outdoor role that involves performing safety-conscious tasks using a variety of tools and equipment. You will be working as part of a close-knit team to ensure the city's assets are well-maintained and its environment remains clean and safe for residents.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of roads, including placement and finishing of concrete, construction of shared pathways and kerb and gutter works
* Maintenance and repair of drainage systems, installation of street furniture and other physical assets
* Ensuring compliance with safety procedures when operating tools and equipment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will require experience in maintaining public infrastructure, particularly in areas related to roads, footpaths, drainage and street furniture.
