About the role
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our energetic and well-established speech pathology team at Orange Health Service. This is a mixed caseload position which will see the successful applicant working in paediatrics four days a week and adults one day a week.
The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to both paediatric and adult consumers across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The position plays a key role in supporting individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
In this role, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children with communication and feeding difficulties. You will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other health professionals to support children in achieving their communication and developmental goals.
In this role, you will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an outpatient setting.
Working within an integrated allied health team, the role provides opportunities for collaboration and shared learning across disciplines and client populations. The Speech Pathologist contributes to the delivery of safe, person-centred care by applying current clinical knowledge, professional standards, and organisational values in all aspects of practice.
This position is suited to a clinician who values variety, adaptability, and teamwork.
