Job Description

Pymble Ladies' College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia for girls Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding from Year 7. At Pymble, we foster a world‐class educational environment with the importance of global citizenship and a worldwide perspective central to our strategic intent.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable General Hand – Logistics to support the smooth day‐to‐day functioning of the College through event setup, classroom arrangements, logistical support, minor maintenance and general operational assistance. This hands‐on role is essential in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional and presentation‐ready for staff, students and visitors.

Reporting to the Logistics Leading Hand, this role suits someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in their work and thrives in a team‐oriented environment. Working Monday to Friday from 7:00am – 3:00pm, this opportunity offers excellent work-life balance while being part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.

You Will Demonstrate The Following Attributes And Capabilities

* Flexible and team-oriented approach with the ability to reprioritise tasks as operational needs change
* Ability to remain calm, flexible and solution-focused when supporting event set up and pack down
* Experience in a general maintenance, facilities or logistics environment
* Strong practical skills including the safe use of tools and manual handling techniques
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Strong communication and time management skills
* A willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College

Desirable

* Previous experience working within a school or education environment
* Trade, maintenance, or handyman experience/qualifications
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
