Refined, contemporary, and elegant would be the best way to describe the work of this multi-award-winning, interiors led Architecture & Interior Design Studio.
This studios use of natural textures, colour and sculptural furnishing has seen their work grace the pages of every major design publication since their inception over ten years ago.
Suring up the project pipeline for the foreseeable future, they have just been given the go-ahead on a series of medium to larger in scale projects based locally, but also interstate and internationally.
Traditionally, this studio has successfully designed and delivered smaller in scale, super boutique, highly crafted artisan inspired spaces. However, over the last few years, the scale of committed projects has significantly shifted in response to a market that demands a higher end project resolution, and a designer led touch on commercial scale developments.
Due to this shift, they are now looking to appoint a leadership and delivery focused Senior Interior Designer to work alongside the Director.
The aim of this role will be to oversee and deliver commercial scale projects that have been recently committed, to manage clients, JV partners and mentor the internal team.
Our client seeks the following background:
* Upwards of 15 years of experience within the Interior Design industry, with extensive ties to the Melbourne design scene
* Proven ability to lead and deliver complex, high-value developments, with a portfolio showcasing projects with budgets exceeding $100M
* A background specialising in Tier 1 privately funded interior design developments
* Specialised experience in luxury residential, hospitality and high-end commercial interiors
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions
In terms of responsibilities, you will be involved in:
* High level stakeholder and client relationship management
* Providing guidance across all projects
* Project delivery and programming
* Coordination and management of design and documentation packages and QA of deliverables against contractual obligations
* Mentoring and overseeing Interior Design team members
Located in the converted industrial back-streets of the inner north, this studio epitomises the Melbourne design scene, blending art, furnishing, and texture to create minimalist environments with a big design punch.
If you're wanting to help a studio scale and enter their next chapter and be involved on enviable projects, this role is for you
Salary expectations in the range of $120,000 to $145,000 plus Superannuation, dependent on your experience.
This is a unique opportunity to join a studio at a pivotal moment of growth and contribute to the shaping of its future.
