We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Reception / Administration Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role would suit someone with previous medical reception, administration, AIN, pathology collection or allied health assistant experience who enjoys a varied role and working in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role supporting both reception and clinical administration duties across the practice. The successful applicant will work closely with our clinical and administrative team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Duties include:
* Reception and general administration duties
* Processing occupational health and medical bookings
* Results management and follow-up administration
* Conducting preliminary medical assessments
* Specimen collection, including supervision of Drug & Alcohol Testing
* Audiometry testing
* Spirometry testing
* Invoicing and billing support
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Friendly, professional and compassionate
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident using computers and learning new systems
* Able to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
* A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
* Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in medical reception, administration, occupational health, AIN or similar healthcare role preferred
* Prior experience with audiometry, spirometry or specimen collection highly regarded
* Training can be provided for the right applicant
* Experience with Best Practice software desirable but not essential
