Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager in Governance, Risk and Compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients meet their governance, risk and compliance obligations through practical and forward-looking advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of GRC engagements across multiple clients.
* Design and implement risk management frameworks, control environments and assurance activities for organisations, programs, and initiatives.
* Conduct compliance reviews, maturity assessments, and risk management advice that strengthen client capabilities and transparency.
* Embed risk-by-design principles into transformation and reform programs.
* Collaborate with eGRC technology partners to enable clients with modern, technology-enabled risk solutions.
* Support business development and proposal efforts by bringing subject matter expertise and client experience to the table.
* Develop the skills and capabilities of junior team members through effective on-the-job training and coaching.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of relevant experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or assurance – either in government or consulting.
* A bachelor's degree, ideally in accounting, business, legal, risk management, governance, compliance, investigations, evaluation, fraud or audit.
* Strong working knowledge of frameworks such as ISO standards and the Commonwealth Risk Management Policy.
* Demonstrated ability to develop risk frameworks and assessments, compliance programs, assurance plans, or control testing frameworks.
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
* Proven ability to manage the delivery of multiple engagements, managing competing priorities.
* Experience in the implementation of eGRC tools is highly desirable.
