4Cyte Pathology – Private Pathology Laboratory
We are seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to work in and around the Morwell area. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Pathology.
Responsibilities
Your primary duties will be to collect blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs, Holter monitoring, and BP monitoring.
Required Experience and Skills
* Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
* Experience in ECG and Holter monitoring
* Experience in paediatric and neonatal collections
* Processing of pathology specimens
* Ability to work independently and participate in weekend roster at any collection centre
* Clerical duties and processing paperwork
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to communicate with the team, referring doctors, and patients
* Ability to demonstrate organisation, problem‐solving skills, prioritise work, and work under pressure
* Comply with Work Health and Safety
Additional Requirements
Own car and a current driver's licence are preferred. A current Working with Children Check clearance is required upon commencement of employment.
