Attribute Group are partnering with a start-up that specialises in the gambling and betting industry. The functions include market analysis, user friendly visualisations and facilitating complex day-to-day operations on a digitised business platform.
We are looking for an ambitious Product Owner to fulfil this brand-new role, this will ideally suit to someone who enjoys creativity and independence in their work. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high functioning team on complex and new projects, with the chance to make a real contribution and establish your own unique footprint.
Gambling/betting experience is needed for this role and can be a 100% remote role.
**The Role**:
- Actively participate in all phases of the project including backlog grooming analysis, design, development, testing, user training, change management and implementation.
- Write requirements and user stories that are succinct and have the relevant detail to ensure the velocity of the team is kept at a maximum
- Work together with engineering squads and other BA's to achieve alignment and business goals
- Participate in all agile ceremonies and on some occasions facilitate agile ceremonies, remove blockers and perform some other tasks typically aligned to a scrum master from time to time
- Run Workshops when required for new initiatives or decision points
**Skills & Experience required**:
- Solid stakeholder engagement skills with an effective ability to build relationships across the organisation
- Proven capability to work cross-functionally and influence both the delivery team and the business in meeting objectives
- Understanding and validating system requirements, documenting user stories, test & acceptance criteria and also assisting with the testing of deliverables
- Strong communication skills - able to communicate effectively key messages with stakeholders, have an adaptive style and influence outcomes.
- Ability to translate technical concepts to business concepts, and vice versa
