YOUR ROLE As a Managing Security Consultant within Offensive Security, you will lead the consulting team across both delivery and commercial outcomes, ensuring high-quality engagements, strong client relationships, and sustainable practice growth. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, overseeing delivery standards, and contributing to the strategic direction of the offensive security capability. This role balances technical oversight, people leadership, and commercial accountability, positioning you as a key leader within the broader cyber practice.
Lead and manage a team of offensive security consultants across all levels
Drive delivery quality, ensuring engagements are well-scoped and executed
Act as an escalation point for complex technical and client issues
Lead and support pre‑sales activities including scoping, proposals, and pricing
Manage team utilisation, pipeline visibility, and resourcing
Contribute to offensive security strategy, capability uplift, and go‑to‑market
Foster a high‑performing, inclusive, and engaged team culture
Support thought leadership, community engagement, and industry presence
Partner with internal stakeholders to align delivery and commercial outcomes
What You’ll Bring
Strong background in offensive security at senior or principal level
Technical credibility across offensive security domains (e.g. OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK)
Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing technical teams
Strong commercial acumen including utilisation, pricing, and delivery riskExperience in pre‑sales, client engagement, and stakeholder management
Ability to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders including CISOs
Strong decision‑making capability balancing client, team, and commercial needs
Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience, e.g. OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CRTO, CRTP or similar
Australian citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
